Ansigo Is Cloud Native
Ansigo is an e-commerce platform built using cloud technology, for cloud deployment, and as such uses cloud technology advantages to their fullest potential. Ansigo is built using micro-services architecture, and leverages containerization, DevOps principles, it is scalable and resilient. We are not a cloud-enabled monolithic application deployed to the cloud like most traditional e-commerce platforms. While browser accessible they do not provide all the advantages of cloud-native applications.
Microservices Architecture
Each service is a well-defined, complete, stand-alone, and self-contained application dedicated to a particular business function. Services are loosely coupled through a set of well-defined APIs that by means of a messaging service communicate with each other. Aggregation of micro-services provides a web application with a complete set of required functionalities that is flexible, scalable, and responsive to business requirements and demand dynamics.
Domain Driven Design
Well-defined, bounded business process domains are at the core of the Ansigo functionality set. Software applications have value only if they perform a single functionality extremely well thus fulfilling user requirements perfectly. Every Ansigo functionality is focused on fulfilling completely and accurately the requirements of a single business domain. Aggregation of these well-defined bounded domains can represent super-domains such as the e-shop which contains, payment, product, shopping cart, wish list, and other domains within it.
Api First
The API-first approach allows us to implement the micro-services architecture, in unison, they provide a great user experience on all devices and on all browsers. Ansigo contains tens of micro-services all communicating via the API gateway. This allows our clients to create an unforgettable user experience. It allows the Ansigo development team and our clients to quickly create new micro-services or deploy third-party applications addressing new customer needs.
